Do We Need to Teach Our Artificial Intelligence How to Feel Regret?

There have been numerous reports of AI users experiencing harassment from automated programs, from being called „stupid“ to receiving racist or sexually inappropriate messages. For humans, this is obviously quite disturbing and disturbing and could potentially alter the way they view or interact with AI in the future. One may ask, would you use an AI again if it had previously harassed you, or even worse – your loved ones? Moreover, how would you recommend such a program to someone else? However, for the AI, these occurrences are without consequence as it holds no feelings, and it won’t care if a user returns or not. This is simply a byproduct of the code that has been provided.

Should we alter the current state of affairs? There have been many intellectuals who have attempted to answer that question, and I now feel compelled to contribute my own opinions on the subject. Should we teach AI to feel regret for the bad decisions it makes?
